The setting takes place in a post apocalyptic society, most of the United States has been destroyed by fires, floods, earthquakes and volcanoes, there is very little water and it’s every man/woman for themselves. Nada meets Isaac at a high school turned shelter her mother is very sick, and Isaac helps save her from the Guardian Vic when he tries to kill her. When she wakes up she find out that the guardians have torched the school, and her mother was killed in a fire that destroyed the school/shelter that they were living in. They have been on their own for a while taking care of each other learning to hunt, fight and trade and most importantly stay alive. When Nada meets a stranger in the woods, indebted to him for his help Nada makes promises to help him rescue his little sister from a heavily guarded prison in exchange for priceless possibilities. Isaac and Nada’s relationship is put to the test. Everyone’s life is at risk as they try to rescue the little girl; a sacrifice come at a great cost but is that a price the group is willing to pay?
I loved the writing style it was fast paced, I was engaged the whole time. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole Novella, I found that it flowed quite nicely and there didn’t seem to be any lags or dips in the story line. I am not usually a fan of novellas as I usually feel like I’m just getting into the story when it ends. I think if the other two are as good as the first she definitely has the potential to go big with this trilogy or combine them to make one novel. I can’t wait to read the next two.

Left Behind is the 2nd book of the post apocalyptic romance series No Shelter, written by T.S. Welti. Taking Place right where the first left off the kids have all escaped barely from the prison when they rescued Deadric’s sister, but Isaac was captured and left behind. Nada and the other’s decide to go back for Isaac and rescue him from the prison. Along their journey to rescue Isaac they find him, he has escaped with a girl in tow, her past is a mystery and Nada finds herself torn between two boys, one who could be her future and one she feels bound to by her past, and risking it all, but is it the right choice?
I love how this booked just flowed right from the first and immediately got going; you felt like you never changed books it was an excellent continuation in story line. I loved how Nada character, with all the crap going on and trying to survive, she still has the same worries as every other teenager, with love triangles, & squares and everything in between. I would definitely recommend this book it was a great read.
I give this book 5 out of 5 Stars

They abandon the safety of the cabin in California and head to Washington to the underground city. Nada has mixed emotions as to whether it’s a good idea to spend the rest of her life in the underground city, and she is starting to question whether she wants to be coupled with Isaac forever. Nada is concerned that Isaac is withholding the truth and she doesn’t know who or what to believe anymore. Vic and his gang are getting closer all the time and the strain is wearing. Just when Nada thinks she may be safe she is betrayed in the worse way imaginable and things are as bad as they get.
I loved this book it flowed right from the second installment Left behind and you took off running. I loved the transition in characters, and how everything went topsy turvy, tons of little surprises, throughout. I should have paid attention the author wrote on her blog that she was not a fan of happy endings. I don’t want to throw a spoiler in there you’ll just have to read it yourself, but I can honestly say I did not see that coming. Great Great Great read I finished all three books in a day. I highly recommend them. I said it before this would be a great 3 part novel and combine all three novella’s into one book.
