This book is filled with historical figures, (They did go back to 1591) centering on Mathew’s group of friends the members of the School of Night . The characters are full of life, and really well written I found myself laughing out loud at times, at the some times sarcastic witty banter of Matthew’s nephew Gallowglass. This book does have a lot of information in it, and its a lot to process at times. There were times when I wanted to kick everyone out of the house so I had peace and quiet to just absorb and digest the information and truly enjoy it. (No such luck in this house :s ) I really enjoyed this book, and will definitely read it again and again and again it just one of those books that with each read you will find something that you might have missed that will make you love it even more.
I give this book a 4 out of 5 star rating
